Armed Security OfficerInner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring Armed Security Officers to work in banks in the Hattiesburg, MS area. Pay rate is $15 per hour paid weekly. Apply today! Permanent Position- Shifts will be 8-hour shift 3pm-11pm. MUST have Armed Guard License! Must apply for Guard License prior to applying if not already obtained! Must be 21 years or older. Prior law enforcement, military, and/or security experience is a plus. Part-time positions available. Retirees and Veterans welcome.You will help to prevent and deter crime through:Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premisesReporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrencesWhen necessary, performing control proceduresOperating emergency equipmentDocumenting nightly operations and filing weekly reportsInvestigating breaches of propertyMust be able to pass a drug screen. Must have reliable transportation and have an active cell phone number. Physical and Mental Job Requirements:Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work.
