nPosition Overview
nSafeguard Security Group is seeking experienced Full Time Armed Security Guards for ongoing, steady daytime assignments. This role is ideal for licensed professionals seeking consistent hours, a structured schedule, and professional management.
nSchedule (Consistent Day Shift)
nMonday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
nFriday: 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
nWeekends:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
nKey Responsibilities
nMaintain a highly visible armed security presence to deter criminal or unauthorized activity
nMonitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to ensure controlled access
nConduct routine patrols and remain outside/visible as required by post orders
nRespond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies
nEnforce site rules, procedures, and company policies
nComplete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
nProtect people, property, and assets with vigilance and composure
nQualifications
nMust be 21 years of age or older
nValid New York State Armed Security Guard License (required)
nActive firearm permit with current range qualification
nPrior armed security or law enforcement experience preferred
nStrong communication skills and situational awareness
nAbility to remain alert and on post for extended periods
nProfessional appearance, punctuality, and reliability required
nMust be available for the listed schedule
nCompensation & Benefits
nHourly rate: $28.00 – $30.00 (based on experience and assignment)
nConsistent full time hours
nOpportunity to pick up additional shifts when available
