Sahara Global Security is an Equal Opportunity employer.Sahara Global Security Guard Duties (General Description):Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises.Alert help by sounding facility alarmsPrevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.Control traffic by directing drivers.Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses.Conduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background.Comply with all legal requirements.Contributes to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts.De-escalate volatile situations; Protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non-physical); Contribute to safe and secure work environment.Project peace.Work RemotelyNoPlease note that applicants are responsible for supplying their own duty equipment.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Experience:Security: 5 years (Required)Law enforcement: 1 year (Preferred)Military: 4 years (Preferred)Customer service: 2 years (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Ability to Relocate:Cleveland, OH 44131: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In personJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:Flexible scheduleHealth insuranceSchedule:4 hour shift8 hour shiftEvening shiftHolidaysNight shiftOn callWeekends as needed
