Armed Security Guard – Residential Property (Hempstead, NY)
Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts
Global Investigations & Asset Protection Inc. is seeking experienced and professional Armed Security Guards to provide security services at a residential housing community in Hempstead, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional security presence and promote a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff
Conduct scheduled patrols and document activities using the DTEC reporting system
Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed incident and activity reports
Monitor building access points and visitor entry procedures
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, disturbances, and security-related incidents
Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Communicate effectively with management, residents, and emergency responders when necessary
Qualifications:
Valid New York State Armed Security Guard License
Valid Concealed Carry Certification
Prior experience in residential security, building security, law enforcement, military, or armed security operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prepare professional reports and maintain accurate documentation
Dependable, professional, and capable of exercising sound judgment
Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrol duties for extended periods
Must be available to work 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
Independent Contractor Information:
This position is classified as a 1099 Independent Contractor role.
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and applicable business expenses.
Must maintain all required licenses and certifications throughout the duration of the assignment.
