First Class Security Hiring Tennessee Licensed Armed Security OfficersFirst Class Security is hiring Tennessee licensed armed security officers for commercial, industrial and residential properties across Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Full time and part time schedules are available across all three shifts. Armed posts carry more responsibility and more judgment, and we staff them with officers who understand that the firearm is the last tool on the belt, not the first.What You Will DoHold an armed post at a commercial, industrial or residential property and maintain a visible, professional presenceControl access, verify credentials, and patrol the property on a regular scheduleMonitor surveillance cameras and building systems and respond to alarms by assessing the situation and following post ordersAddress trespassing, theft and suspicious activity within post authority, de escalate first, and escalate to your supervisor and to authorities when requiredAssist tenants, residents and guests with courtesyWrite clear, factual daily activity reports and incident reportsFollow all company, client, firearms and privacy guidelinesWhat You Need21 or older with a high school diploma or equivalentCurrent Tennessee armed security guard license in good standing. This license is required at the time of hire.At least one year of security, military or law enforcement experienceYour own duty weapon and duty belt that meet Tennessee requirements for armed security officersReliable transportation to posts across Middle TennesseeStrong observation skills, clear written and spoken communication, and a calm manner under pressureAbility to pass a background check and drug screenPay and Benefits$19 to $23 per hour depending on post and experienceWeekly pay by direct depositPaid internal training and site specific post orientationUniform providedA Middle Tennessee supervisor who visits your post, and a real path to supervisor, dispatch and account management rolesFirst Class Security is a locally owned security company headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, protecting more than 200 properties across Middle Tennessee since 2010.
