As an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic campus technology environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. Join Allied Universal, where agile, reliable, innovative teams put people first, work together, and act with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $16.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 03:00 PM - 09:00 PMTue 03:00 PM - 09:00 PMWed 03:00 PM - 09:00 PMThur 03:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri 07:00 AM - 05:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology-focused university location.Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, technology areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.Prepare clear and accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with campus personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
