As a Armed Security Officer Clearance Eligible in Palmdale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of office areas, billing operations spaces, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as authorized, and report suspicious activity or access-control concerns.
Maintain required armed post qualifications and handle authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, site policies, and Allied Universal procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess at least 5 years of security-related experience.
Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
