As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and committed to integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 08:45 AM - 05:15 PMTue 08:45 AM - 05:15 PMWed 08:45 AM - 05:15 PMThur 08:45 AM - 05:15 PMSat 08:45 AM - 02:15 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while handling sensitive financial institution operations.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate armed response protocols and promptly reporting activity to designated personnel.Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.Minimum Requirements:Have at least two years of security-related experience.Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.Have access control and/or badge experience, preferred.Possess CPR and/or First Aid certification, preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.ClosingAllied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
