You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour
Job Schedule:
Day Time Wed 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM Thur 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities within a correctional government location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as directed, and maintain awareness of activity throughout the assigned location.
Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
