Security Officer Full Time Armed Response DriverAs a Security Officer Full Time Armed Response Driver in Manson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and offers the opportunity to support a caring, reliable team. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and integrity while helping promote an orderly environment.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $21.50 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeThur 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMFri 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMSat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter areas, and/or parking areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, or policy violations.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and/or incident documentation in accordance with site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders.Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and comply with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific armed post procedures.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
