Armed Security Officer - Gatehouse & PatrolPay Rate: $23.00 per hour Schedule: Open Availability Hours: Overnight (exact schedule to be assigned based on operational needs) Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FLPosition OverviewCambridge Security Services is seeking professional Armed Security Officers for upscale country clubs, residential gatehouses, and patrol assignments. Officers will maintain a safe and secure environment through visible deterrence, access control, and proactive patrol.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct armed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior & exterior)Control access and verify guest/vendor credentialsMonitor CCTV and alarm systemsRespond to incidents, emergencies, and disturbancesComplete detailed daily activity and incident reportsProvide high-level customer service to residents, members, and guestsEnforce property rules and post ordersMinimum RequirementsValid Florida Class D & G Security Licenses (Required)Valid Driver's License with clean driving recordMinimum 2 years of armed security experience (preferred)High School Diploma or equivalent21 years of age or olderAbility to pass background screening and drug testReliable transportationSkills & QualificationsStrong written and verbal communicationProfessional appearance and demeanorSituational awareness and sound judgmentAbility to remain calm under pressurePhysical & Work EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor assignmentsExtended standing and walkingExposure to various weather conditionsBenefits (Full-Time Employees)Major MedicalDental & Vision InsurancePaid VacationIndustry-Leading TrainingWork Perks Discount ProgramFree Uniforms
