Armed Security Officer Medical CenterAs an Armed Security Officer Medical Center in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $20.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report unusual conditions, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.Minimum Requirements:Meet hospital vaccination requirements.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.Possess an armed guard card or license preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
