As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail grocery location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This armed driving role requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Join Allied Universal's caring, agile team, where integrity, reliability, innovation, and teamwork guide every interaction.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / Hour21+ Years of Age Active Armed Guard Card/License Valid Driver's License 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security ExperienceJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to store management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
