As a Armed Security Officer - Security Operations Center in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly professional environment.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and follow established escalation procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, as assigned.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Possess a valid Level 3 Armed Guard Card or license.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
