Armed Security Officer Overnight Shipyard Site PatrolAs an Armed Security Officer Overnight Shipyard Site Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $25.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:30 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:30 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:30 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:30 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access points and verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and observations, while following applicable laws, policies, and firearms protocols.Minimum Requirements:Have at least six months of security-related experience.Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.Possess an armed guard card or license.A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.
