As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-focused culture. Join Allied Universal and bring integrity, reliability, and innovation to an essential role.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity in accordance with site requirements.Carry and maintain assigned equipment, including an authorized firearm, in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, company policy, and site procedures.Minimum Requirements:At least one year of security-related experience is required.A Texas Level III Armed Certification is required.CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.An armed guard card/license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
