Join Allied Universal, where agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity guide how we serve.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMThur 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri 09:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government services location.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with appropriate emergency personnel when needed.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, following established visitor management, access control, and prohibited-item procedures.Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.Minimum Requirements:Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
