Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in San Marcos, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork, reliability, agility, and care.

Job Schedule:
Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
Maintain required documentation, including patrol logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports, while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
