As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns while providing professional customer service and clear communication. At Allied Universal, you will deliver through teamwork, reliability, innovation, and integrity in a caring culture that puts people first.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.Maintain awareness of industrial operations, vehicle traffic, and changing work conditions while performing assigned armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:Have at least one year of security-related experience.Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.An armed guard card or license is preferred.CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
