With Hana's extensive security experience, you'll have the training, standards, and team support to succeed in this vital role.Position SummaryAs an Armed Security Officer, you will play a critical role in protecting military personnel, facilities, and assets at our NSA Philadelphia site. You will control access points, perform patrols, detect and deter unauthorized activity, and respond decisively to potential threats. Your professionalism, alertness, and sound judgment ensure order, safety, and mission readiness at secured military installations.Key ResponsibilitiesProtect military installations, personnel, and assets from unauthorized access, sabotage, theft, or other threatsConduct entry control and identification checks to verify authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipmentPerform perimeter and facility patrols to detect and deter suspicious or unlawful activityRespond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidentsExecute emergency procedures to secure the base during heightened alert conditionsHandle firearms responsibly, maintaining proficiency in accordance with company and regulatory standardsComplete accurate logs, reports, and documentation of security activitiesInteract professionally with military personnel, visitors, and fellow officersSupport Hana's mission and uphold company standards of ethics, integrity, and professional excellence at all times.What You BringHigh standards of ethics, integrity, and dependability Dedication and sense of pride in your workStrong situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressureExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skillsProfessional demeanor and appearance (meets military requirements)Team-oriented and safety-consciousAbility to work varied days/schedules – to include nights, weekends, and holidaysQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Armed Security Officer (commercial or law enforcement) in the last five (5) years; or minimum of two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any US Armed ForcesMust be proficient using firearms (9mm and AR-15)Age: Be at least 21 years of age or be an honorably discharged veteranBackground: Must not have felony convictions and no convictions for domestic violence crimeProof of Legal Residency: Must be a U.S. citizen. Dual citizenship is prohibitedCommunication: Speak and be literate in English to the extent of writing, reading and understanding printed regulations, orders, instructions, etc.Licensure / ClearancePossess a valid current state-issued driver's licenseHave current or is able to obtain a DoD ClearanceHave current or is able to Act 235.Job Qualifications: Successfully meet all of the followingPass Drug TestPsychological Testing Requirement: CPI/ MMPI testsMedical Health Evaluation: Physical exam, Visual, AuditoryPhysical Abilities Test: 1.5 mile run in less than 17.30 min/ 19 push-ups in 2 minBe able to wear duty belt (20lbs), stand, walk, run, remain alertTraining Academy (paid): Upon Hire, must be available to successfully complete mandatory 2-week training.
