Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. Conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors and personnel. Our agile, reliable, and innovative team puts people first, delivers through teamwork, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $23.79 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Mon 08:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue 08:00 AM - 06:00 PMWed 08:00 AM - 06:00 PMSat 08:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and armed post requirements at a government transportation location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering or leaving the location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
