Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance EligibleAs an Armed Security Officer in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This driving post offers the opportunity to apply your skills while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $26.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTimeMon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity documentation, and communicate security-related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.Minimum Requirements:Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Possess a valid California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
