As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $22.00 / HourJob Schedule:DayTime Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government locations.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential security-related concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.Monitor access points and verify credentials as required, helping to control entry to restricted areas and reporting unauthorized access attempts.Document observations, incidents, patrol activities, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate personnel.Minimum Requirements:Possess a Certified Protection Officer certification.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
