As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, teamwork, reliability, and care.Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $18.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day Time Wed 05:00 PM - 11:30 PMThur 10:30 AM - 11:30 PMFri 10:30 AM - 11:30 PMSat 10:30 AM - 11:30 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of store interiors, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following site-specific protocols.Maintain a visible presence throughout the retail location, assist with access control and authorized entry, and report suspicious activity or policy violations.Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
