n nAbout the Position
nInner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is looking for dependable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Amite area .
nAs an Unarmed Security Officer, you will help provide a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing professional security services and excellent customer service .
nWhat You'll Do
nnnConduct regular and random patrols of assigned properties
n
nnMaintain a visible security presence and help deter unauthorized activity
n
nnMonitor and report security concerns, hazards, and unusual occurrences
n
nnRespond appropriately to incidents and follow established procedures
n
nnDocument nightly activities and complete required reports
n
nnInvestigate and report potential breaches of property
n
nnCommunicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members
n
nnWork independently while also supporting the security team
n
n nWhat We're Looking For
nWe're looking for individuals who are:
nnn21 years of age or older
n
nnCustomer-service focused and professional
n
nnStrong communicators with good conflict-resolution skills
n
nnDependable and responsible
n
nnComfortable working independently and as part of a team
n
nnAble to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
n
nnAble to provide reliable transportation to and from the assigned location
n
nnComfortable using a cellphone for work-related communication
n
nnAble to successfully complete the company's pre-employment screening process
n
nnEligible to obtain and maintain any security license required for the position
n
n nPhysical & Job Expectations
nSecurity Officers should be comfortable with the physical activities associated with the position, which may include:
nnnStanding, walking, sitting, running, and climbing as needed
n
nnReading and documenting information accurately
n
nnCommunicating clearly during routine operations and emergency situations
n
nnRemaining alert and responding appropriately to changing circumstances
n
nnDetecting and identifying relevant sounds, alarms, or emergency conditions
n
nnLifting up to 50 pounds when required by the assignment
n
nnOperating a motor vehicle when required by the assigned post
n
