Need AI Solutions Engineer with experience designing on-prem PII de-identification/tokenization pipelines-100% Remote-Backfill Role
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+Months
Position Summary
The ideal candidate is a versatile technical builder fluent across AI/ML engineering, secure data architecture, full-stack development, and system design for regulated, audit-heavy environments.
Required Skills and Tools
AI / NLP / Machine Learning
LLM-based document understanding: prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), structured/JSON output extraction
NLP frameworks: spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain (or equivalent orchestration)
Model evaluation: precision/recall analysis, confidence calibration, human-in-the-loop validation
Document parsing/OCR: Tesseract, AWS Textract, Azure Document Intelligence, PyMuPDF, python-docx, Apache Tika
Experience building hybrid rules-engine plus ML systems (deterministic + probabilistic scoring)
Data Security and PII Handling
Tokenization/de-identification: format-preserving encryption, salted hashing, reversible pseudonymization
Secure key management: HashiCorp Vault, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault (or on-prem equivalent)
Data loss prevention (DLP) principles for on-prem-to-model boundary control
Software Engineering / Full-Stack
Back-end: Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask) or Java/C# equivalent; RESTful API design
Front-end: React, Angular, or Vue for HR specialist-facing GUI
Database: PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar; audit-log schema design
Search/retrieval: Elasticsearch or OpenSearch
Version control and CI/CD: Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, including NLP-based extraction and classification
Demonstrated experience designing on-prem PII de-identification/tokenization pipelines
Full-stack development experience (front-end GUI plus back-end/API architecture)
Experience building confidence-scoring or explainable-AI outputs for human-in-the-loop systems
Experience with agentic AI or multi-step LLM workflows
