Job description
Sterilization Process ManagerEssential Job Responsibilities:Responsible for control of all parts of the sterilization process including decontaminationWorks in conjunction with the OR staff to provide timely sterile products for various proceduresMonitors surgery schedules daily, identifying general, specific and potential needs for all casesAssists with cleaning of rooms between casesMaintains appropriate records in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulationsPosition Requirements:High school graduate or equivalentTwo (2) or more years' applicable experience; two (2) years' experience of hospital main OR preferredMust be able to communicate calmly, clearly and effectively to patients, physicians and staffCurrent BCLS; Surgical Technologist certification preferred but not requiredExceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and communication skillsMust be able to complete tasks with a high-degree of efficiency and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with frequent disruptionsMust demonstrate ability to analyze data and resolve complex problemsMust have the ability to work independently while managing time and workload appropriatelyJob Type: Full-time Remote: NoneQualificationsBehaviors:Innovative: Consistently introduces new ideas and demonstrates original thinkingDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityMotivations:Flexibility: Inspired to perform well when granted the ability to set your own schedule and goalsAbility to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationSelf-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside helpEducation:High School or better.Experience:Two (2) or more years' applicable experience; two (2) years' experience of hospital main OR preferredEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
