In this full-time, first shift position at a dynamic community hospital nestled in a breathtaking lakeside setting, you will play a pivotal role in delivering life-altering diagnostic results. You will collaborate with teammates who share your sense of purpose, all supported by a comprehensive rewards package focused on both career growth and personal well-being.

Your Role Awaits

Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests encompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.

Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.

Carefully document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.

Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of hire.

Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout employment.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.

Independent judgment and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.

Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in quality control and documentation.

Benefits

Offering competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Access to market-competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.

Generous paid time off starting from day one, with vacation and holiday time inclusive of hire experience.

Opportunities for continued education and professional development.

A thorough rewards package designed for your overall wellness.

Follow the Numbers to Real Lives

Your meticulous work with microscopes informs crucial decisions made by doctors—which means you're powering the lives of patients. Each slide you prepare can help confirm an infection or reveal a metabolic issue before it escalates. The accuracy you provide is vital, earning the trust of doctors, nurses, and patients alike.

A Culture Rooted in Collaboration

Here, you're not just joining a role; you're becoming part of a close-knit community. It's a workplace that champions continuous growth. Regular lab meetings, competency refreshers, and initiatives for process improvement create an environment where every idea is valued. You will have the opportunity to join committees, suggest enhancements, and mentor newcomers.

Emerging Community: Where Lakes Meet Life

Imagine a thriving lakeside community—picturesque street lines that gently meet the shimmering waters, bustling farmers' markets brimming with fresh produce and craft beverages, and a vibrant array of arts festivals. Cozy neighborhood cafés serve as social hubs, where discussions range from weather updates to community news. Your days off may involve paddleboarding at dawn or enjoying an outdoor concert surrounded by lush oak trees. The local populace is warm, inviting, and deeply interconnected—values mirrored in the healthcare community.

Here, you have access to charming shops, scenic nature trails, local theatre, and recreational activities for every hobby—from birdwatching to triathlons. Commuting is a delight, with easy connections to the metro and a lifestyle that offers more than the typical hustle of city life. Living expenses remain reasonable, allowing your salary to go further when it comes to enjoying local experiences—from roof-top terraces to weekend getaways at quaint wineries and football games.

Forging Impact, Cultivating Excellence

In this community, every lab professional is more than just a tech; they are integral to the health of those around them. You will witness the ripple effect of your contributions: expedited diagnoses, enhanced patient care, and greater operational efficiency. The cheers of gratitude from patients are a true reflection of the pivotal role you play in delivering timely and effective healthcare.

Now Is Your Moment to Advance with Purpose

If your career aspirations transcend beyond mere financial gain—if you are motivated by purpose, personal development, and community service—this position is tailored for you. Whether you're just starting out or have years of expertise under your belt, you will find an environment ripe with support, challenge, and opportunities ahead.

Ready to Embrace Your Next Journey?

Step into a position where your diligent skills meet a community that cherishes innovation and compassion—a place where every lab report contributes to heartfelt stories of recovery. If you are excited to engage in a role that values precision, collaboration, and care, we are eager to connect with you.
