Description – What You Will Contribute
Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests, including diverse areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, all while adhering to strict protocols.
Carefully evaluate test results for precision, actively troubleshoot when discrepancies arise, and maintain lab instruments through preventative maintenance and calibration.
Support specimen collection processes and organize samples for testing whenever necessary.
Keep a thorough record of procedures executed, assist in training new personnel, and take part in sustaining high laboratory quality standards.
Ensure your workspace remains clean and safe while complying with regulatory and accreditation mandates.
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with the necessary ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certifications
Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
Keep your certification current throughout your time here.
