ASCP Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) / Med TechMedical Lake, WA $51,129 - $72,029 a yearJob Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and support. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Uphold and promote the philosophy of encouraging self-care and independence among residents.Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and experiences of residents while understanding the aging process.Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols.Collaborate closely with team members to ensure quality care.Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotional situations.Stay composed during emergencies and maintain a calm atmosphere.Keep noise levels low to support a peaceful environment.Assist the Dietary department as needed.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the relevant state.Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification mandatory.Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living.At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar is advantageous.Professional Requirements:Comply with all regulatory standards and maintain certifications.Demonstrate punctuality and complete tasks within designated timelines.Exhibit courteous, respectful, and helpful communication with patients, guests, and staff.Work Environment: This full-time position involves working 80 hours per pay period, primarily during evening shifts, within a healthcare facility located in a scenic Pacific Northwest regional setting.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision coverage, retirement plans with employer match, life and disability insurance, AFLAC, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, potential bonuses, gym membership, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment opportunities.
