ASCP Certified Nurse Assistant (NAC) / Med TechChattaroy, WA $52,399 - $82,099 a yearJob Type: Full TimeJob Summary: Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and effective communication with residents, families, staff, and visitors. Embrace and promote a philosophy that supports self-care and independence among residents.Key Responsibilities:Uphold the values and heritage of residents while understanding the aging process.Maintain accurate, confidential resident records following established protocols.Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure quality care.Use tactful and diplomatic communication in sensitive or emotional situations.Stay calm and composed during emergencies.Maintain a quiet environment conducive to resident comfort.Assist the Dietary department as needed.Education and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) certification in the relevant state.Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification required.Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living.At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.Proficiency with electronic medical documentation systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar.Professional Requirements:Comply with all regulatory requirements.Demonstrate punctuality and complete tasks within designated timelines.Adhere to organizational mission, ethics, and goals.Communicate courteously and respectfully with patients, guests, and staff.Compensation and Benefits: Starting salary depends on qualifications and experience, with annual incremental increases.
