ASCP Certified Nurse Assistant (NAC) / Med TechColville, WA $49,699 - $70,099 a yearFull TimeJob Summary:Provide compassionate direct and indirect care to residents, including medication administration and support. Engage effectively with residents, their families, staff, and visitors, fostering a respectful and supportive environment.Key Responsibilities:Uphold and promote the philosophy of encouraging self-care and independence among residents.Respect and appreciate the heritage, values, and experiences of residents, with an understanding of the aging process.Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential resident records following established procedures.Collaborate closely with peers and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care.Communicate tactfully and diplomatically in sensitive or emotionally charged situations.Remain calm and composed during emergencies.Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment.Assist the Dietary department as needed or directed.Education and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) credential in the relevant state.Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification required.Preferred certifications include Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities for Assisted Living.At least one year of experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting is preferred.Proficiency with electronic medical record systems such as Point Click Care E-Mar documentation is a plus.Professional Requirements:Comply with all regulatory requirements.Demonstrate punctuality and complete assigned tasks within designated timelines.Adhere to organizational mission, ethics, and goals.Communicate courteously and respectfully with patients, guests, and staff.Compensation and Benefits:Successful candidates typically start between the beginning and midpoint of the salary range, with annual incremental increases.
