ASCP - Medical Laboratory Technician
MLR Healthcare is seeking a committed and certified Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join a reputable hospital located near Myrtle Beach, SC.
This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position is perfect for laboratory professionals dedicated to accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality patient care. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 in relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
Laboratory Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests in various fields, including chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and immunology, with a focus on precision and detail.
Result Interpretation: Accurately analyze test results and provide timely reports to healthcare providers to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
Equipment Management: Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting any technical issues as necessary.
Quality Control: Follow strict quality assurance protocols and regulatory standards to uphold laboratory accuracy and integrity.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care through dependable lab results.
Qualifications:
Certification: ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Education: Associate's degree for MLT or Bachelor's degree for MT from an accredited institution
Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment is preferred
Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role
