Job description
Onsite Working Paving ForemanThe onsite working paving foreman will be responsible for overseeing, directing and coordinating the activities of project personnel to ensure that the project progresses efficiently, on schedule, and within the allocated budget. This role requires close collaboration with management, office staff and project managers, general contractors, and customers to successfully implement project plans from start to finish.QualificationsMust have proven expertise in Asphalt Paving and best practices and have equipment operator experience specific to Asphalt Paving.A valid driver's license is required.Proven experience as a Paving Foreman or in a similar role.Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Team LeadershipLead and supervise paving laborer's, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.Provide support and guidance to ensure team productivity and project success.Schedule & Budget ManagementMonitor and manage project timelines to ensure milestones are met and that the project stays within budget.Identify potential delays or issues and take corrective action as needed.Communication & CollaborationServe as the primary point of contact for management, office personnel, project managers, general contractors, and customers.Foster effective communication across teams to ensure clarity and resolve any challenges or conflicts.Quality ControlEnsure that all project activities are conducted in compliance with established quality standards and safety regulationsAddress any concerns regarding the quality of work and implement necessary improvements.Risk ManagementProactively identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate or resolve them.Address any unforeseen issues that may arise during the project.Reporting & DocumentationProvide regular project status updates to management and ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.Project Close-OutOversee the successful completion of the project and ensure customer satisfaction.About All City PavingSince 2012, All City Paving, LLC has been satisfying the paving needs of Salem, Oregon and the Willamette Valley.
