Job description
We're seeking a Asphalt Plant Operator who's ready to put your skills to work on projects that matter - and build a career with a company that's building North America. Asphalt Plant Operator | plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Primary responsibilities include assisting in Maintenance & Production functions Safely perform maintenance activities to insure plant efficiency Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas. Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION Internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company resources Ability to operate equipment effectively Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas Performs other administrative duties as assigned. Education : High School diploma or equivalent. Field of Study Preferred : Required Work Experience : Must have previous welding, cutting experience Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment experience Required Training/Certifications : Basic computer skills and understanding of hardware/software Travel Requirements : Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
