The Asphalt Roller Operator position is critical as we build better communities. Here are some things you will do:
Visualize and implement the Clyde Companies, Inc. vision and core values.
Operate heavy equipment, specifically asphalt roller, productively, efficiently, and safely.
Work with screed man and foreman to complete a quality project meeting compaction requirements
Assist in cleaning out paver
Grease, oil, and performs minor repairs on equipment, using grease gun, oilcans, and hand tools.
Direct and teach laborers/operators as assigned
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Additionally, we're looking for:
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Understand paving procedures
Experience rolling different types of asphalt mix including UDOT or state mixes
Ability to work overtime in summer and winter conditions
Valid driver's license and clean MVR
CDL and ability to run a distributor truck a plus, but not required
