Job TitleResponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Perform daily equipment inspectionsPerform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviorsControls material taken into paver and the depth of material being distributed through the paver and smoothness of matAbility to communicate with supervisor and testing technician if there are issues with laydown operationsPosition is expected to assist in operating other pieces of paving equipment including asphalt rollers, power brooms, skid steer loaders, and loaders as neededMust be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends as neededMust be willing to do physical laborPerform other duties as directed by supervisorMinimum Qualifications:Must be willing to work in all weather conditionsValid driver's license but a CDL is a preferredMust pass a pre employment drug screening and backgroundJob requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and rakingBenefitsCompany paid medical, dental and vision401KPaid Time OffHoliday PayLife InsuranceShort Term DisabilityKnife River is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
