You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.What You'll Get to DoThe Assembler 1 is focused on drilling and milling metal, assembling/fabricating doors and frames to specifications provided by the customer. Additional activities may include welding, use of hand tools and packing products. This position reports to the Production Supervisor.This role is perfect for an individual who has an attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency) strong work ethic/reliability and is a problem solver. A vital member of the Production Departments, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.Job responsibilities include:Drilling/milling/sawing metalAssembling metal frames to meet customer specificationsAttach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.Regular use of hand tools and how to use them safelyRead and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure.Adhere to quality standards provided to customers (internal/external).Be able to learn basic weldingWhat We Are Looking ForMust be at least 18 years of age.Ability to read, understand, and communicate.Ability to work independently and prioritize work with deadlines; ability to work overtime when required.Work performed inside a production environment.Ability to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours per day on a concrete floor.Noise levels in the work environment can be moderate to high.The plant facility is subject to the same climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.)What OBE Offers YouBenefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
