Assembler 1Location: Houston, Texas Employment Type: Full-TimePay Rate:1st Shift Assembler I: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour2nd Shift Assembler I: $16.75 – $18.75 per hour (includes $1.75 shift differential for 2nd shift)Why Join UsOur employees love working here due to the flexibility of cross-training in a rotational design. As a growing organization, sustainability is at the core of what we do and a key reason our employees enjoy coming to work every day.Essential ResponsibilitiesHelps identify problems with assemblies, generates Non-Conforming Material Reports to document issues.Works with Manufacturing Engineering to identify solutions and supports the implementation of solutions.Works with Quality Engineering on continuous improvement of established assembly and quality management processes.Supports ISO 9001:2008 internal audits, as well as ISO 9001:2008 re-certification preparation / audits.Streamlines existing assembly/integration processes by collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Engineering to analyze current processes; presents recommendations for improvement.Provides daily/weekly status of projects within work groupAssemble, test and box product from all product lines made inside the plantQualifications/Requirements: High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution Minimum of 1 years of manufacturing experienceDesired CharacteristicsAbility and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as requiredAbility and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and other physical activitiesAbility and willingness to be in the shop environment a minimum of 8 hours per day, primarily standing and sitting, as requiredAbility and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off (PTO) and Paid HolidaysShift Differential for 2nd ShiftOpportunities for Cross-Training and Skill DevelopmentStable work environment with long-tenured employeesCareer growth opportunities in a growing and sustainable organizationDresser is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
