Assembler 1Job Location: Rochester, NYJob Contract: 12 Months on W2 Shift: 1st Shift: M-F 7 - 3:30 PMPrincipal Responsibilities:Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assembliesDetermines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly unitsMakes set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specificationsMay be responsible for testing equipment and productsRequired Skills:0-1 year of related experience requiredPhysical Demands & Working Conditions:Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of timeMust be able to lift up to 50 lbsRegularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to (INSERT) poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for (INSERT)% of the timeFrequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder levelRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder levelMust be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understandMust be able to exchange accurate informationOperates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environmentConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machineryAbility to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatNoise level in the work environment is usually average
