You can see some of our favorite projects here.Start your journey with OBE and help us build the future.What You Get to Do:This position is responsible for general fabrication and assembly of doors using hand and power tools, quality inspections as well as other duties which may be assignedQualified candidates must be able to work 1st shift with periods of required over timeRegular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your jobWhat We Are Looking For:Experience using and reading a tape measure to the 16th'sExperience reading and understanding fabrication drawingsExperience using powered industrial toolsRead written instructions and follow verbal instructionsMultitask, prioritize and work under time constraintsMust be a team player and willing to be trained to work in other areas as assignedCommunicate well with peers and managementMust be able to work 1st shift, with periods of required overtimePreference will be given to applicants with former fabrication experiencePhysical Requirements:Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 11 hoursStand, stoop, bend twist for long periods of timeGrasp, squeeze, hold/handle thin to thick metal, hand/power tools, small parts & large itemsReach, handle, grasp & turn and lift using upper body while movingLift, push, pull or move 20-30 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs periodicallyVisual acuity to inspect aluminum and product for various quality flawsProper wear of all required Personal Protective EquipmentWork in temperatures consistent with same outdoor climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)What OBE Offers You:Benefits that benefit you – industry competitive benefits at the lowest cost to the employeeWork-life balance – PTO and holidays, including floating holidays you can chooseCompensation that rewards your hard work – A pay-for-performance culture with potential for annual raises and bonusesTraining – We will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed
