Assembler – 1st Shift
Pay:
$18.64 per hour Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Job Description:
We are looking for dependable Assemblers to join a production team in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. This position involves assembling, building, repairing, and reworking kits while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate has good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive hands-on work throughout the shift. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred, but training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and components according to established work instructions
Place the correct parts and quantities into kits with a high level of accuracy
Maintain an adequate supply of parts at the assigned workstation
Visually inspect parts and verify correct quantities
Notify the appropriate team member when parts or supplies need to be replenished
Handle various shapes and sizes of parts throughout the production process
Identify and report defective or nonconforming products
Prevent nonconforming products from continuing through the production process
Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred
Good hand-eye coordination
Basic math and counting skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to perform repetitive hands-on tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Frequent reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movements
Manual dexterity to handle parts and tools of various shapes and sizes
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
Ability to perform repetitive assembly and production tasks
Comfortable working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone who is dependable, accurate, and comfortable performing repetitive hands-on assembly work. The right candidate will be able to maintain production pace while paying close attention to part numbers, quantities, and quality. Candidates with previous assembly, manufacturing, production, packaging, or similar experience are encouraged to apply.
