We are proud of the longevity and dedication of our employees and are committed to providing a positive work environment along with a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:One weekday shift Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm401k match: 100% payroll match up to 6% with 4% quarterly profit sharingHealthy work/life balanceCompany-wide bonus programGenerous time offClean, safe, climate controlled, low noise shop environmentMonthly lunches if we perform well as a companyRobust health and wellness benefitsAlways the proper tool for the job functionContinuous improvement cultureZero-Max is currently recruiting for an Assembler responsible for producing and assembling mechanical parts according to specifications.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRead and follow daily Manufactured Electronic Scheduler (MES) and other instructions to build and assemble parts in an accurate and timely fashionMake routine inspection of products after assemblingOperate small hand and power toolsMaintains a 5S work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulationsParticipate in continuous improvement through submittal of improvement ideas and working with management and engineering to accomplish improvementsRequirementsEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED preferred3 to 5 years of mechanical assembly experience requiredRequired SkillsMust be familiar with portable power tool and machine tools such as a drill pressRequires a basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsMust have computer familiarityPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
