Assembler PositionDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Assemblers for a specialty electrical products manufacturer in Estherville, IA. In this role, you’ll help assemble high quality fixture whips and wire components in a clean, structured production environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, steady routines, and weekly paychecks, this could be a great fit. Read below for more information!What You'll Do as an Assembler:Assemble, bundle, and package fixture whips following work instructions and quality standardsRead fixture whip labels and apply labels accurately to conduitInsert wires into conduit based on specified color codesUse ties, tools, equipment, and machines to secure wire leadsStand at a workstation for the majority of your shiftOperate various assembly machines and equipment as assignedWhat You Need to Bring:Ability to operate basic hand-power tools and pneumatic screwdriversAbility to insert wires into conduit following color-coded instructionsAbility to read and apply fixture whip labelsAbility to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodationsAbility to stand for 90% of an 8-hour shiftReliable transportation to the Estherville areaAbility to pass applicable pre-employment screenings (if required)Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing SolutionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
