Assembler A - Second ShiftAPI Heat Transfer is looking for people who enjoy being part of transformation. We have a new mission, new leaders, and are accelerating our path to Lean Cultural Change. If you like to fix things, and want to be part of a new API, we'd love to talk to you about our Assembler A - Second Shift position!What We Offer You:Be part of leading-edge technology for the heat transfer industryStarting wage $28.61/hour, incremental increases move to $31.03 after one year2nd Shift differential of $1.75/hourAbility to impact customers across multiple industriesFull health & welfare benefits, PTO, and developmental opportunities!What Can Our Location Offer You:Only 20 minutes from the beautiful Buffalo waterfront and 45 minutes from Niagara FallsIn house market style cafeteria with plenty of healthy selectionsBuffalo is known for our wide range of choices for food and beverages from our famous Buffalo Wings and Beef on Weck to several micro-breweries and distilleries scattered across the regionWhat You Will Do:Assembles fabricated components to make complete units or sub assemblies to drawings, specifications and procedures already established.Machine or hand tools may be used.Duties include expanding, rolling and flaring tubes and knowledge of standard types of testing and flushing procedures.Requires a minimum of assistance and instructions.Whenever required, will advise others when physically assisted.Uses mechanical and manual lifting equipment and essential tools.Prepares units for shipment, makes skids, boxes; and as required, spray paints standard primers, brush paints, stencils and nameplates.
