Job Title1st and 3rd shiftMonday - Friday and open to work SaturdaysPay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00Main Job DutiesPerform assembly operations to assign the construction of components accurately, thoroughly and to approved specificationsEnsure incoming parts and materials are identified and delivered to appropriate locationsCommunicate effectively with department personnel to facilitate production ordersAssist department personnel as needed and follow instructions as provided by supervisor or skilled personnelProvide second-person support in handling large partsFollow instructions as provided by supervisorComplete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specificationsCooperate with other employees in the department and maintain a safe working environmentMaintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areaAdhere to all company safety regulations and those specific to assigned work areaOther duties as assignedEducationHigh School diploma or equivalent is requiredExperienceA minimum of 6 months of working experience is requiredA minimum of 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredSkills/Knowledge/AbilitiesAbility to operate common hand tools (drill, screwdriver, hammer, etc.) is requiredKnowledge of various hardware (screws, washers, bolts, rivets, etc.) is requiredFamiliarity with shop equipment such as table, panel and chop saws and kick and drill presses are preferredAbility to work overtime when requiredAbility to arrive promptly for shift and stand and/or walk for duration of shift is requiredAbility to hear, speak, kneel, bend and use a step ladder or stool is requiredAbility to lift 40 pounds is requiredAbility to work in a manufacturing environment is required
