Assembler/Equipment Operator IWieland is hiring an Assembler/Equipment Operator I. The Assembler/Equipment Operator I will be responsible for ensuring that components are machined and finished as specified by the detailed drawings and procedures of the company, while meeting the defined quality standards. We are seeking a flexible individual who can manage varying job duties from day to day. This role is located in Delaware Ohio and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $19.00 - 21.00Schedule:Weekday ShiftMonday – Thursday6:00am-4:30pmWeekend ShiftFriday-Sunday6:00am-6:00pmShift Differential: $1.50/hr.Pay Schedule: BiweeklyResponsibilitiesAssembler/Equipment Operator I Responsibilities:Following production orders, company procedures and directions from supervisor, prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.Successfully perform assembly operations by means of power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.Preparing parts for assembly by means of grinding, blasting, cutting of metals, etc.Execute assembly in accordance to company’s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality and safety standards.Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance as per instructions.Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.Assembler/ Equipment Operator I Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Required.Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time.Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.Ability to use standard hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.Proactive in proposing solutions.Good verbal communication skills.Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.QualificationsJoining Wieland's team gives you…Benefits - Including Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life & more!Retirement Savings - 401(k) contribution + match.Work/Life Balance - Paid Vacation & Holidays.Growth Opportunities - We have over 9,000+ employees worldwide and 40+ locations in North America alone.
