Job description
Production AssemblerBuild and wire equipment in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. If you enjoy hands-on work, reading schematics, and working with tools, this could be a great fit.What You'll DoAssemble electrical and mechanical components following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematicsInstall wiring, sensors, harnesses, and electrical componentsUse hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, saws, and testing equipmentInspect assemblies to ensure quality and accuracyPackage finished products for shipmentMaintain inventory and reorder parts as neededOperate cranes, forklifts, or lifting equipment when requiredFollow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsSupport other production areas and participate in cross-trainingRequired SkillsAbility to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagramsExperience with electrical wiring and assemblyMechanical assembly experience using hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to recognize wire color codesAbility to stand for an entire shiftAbility to lift up to 35 lbs.Preferred QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or production experienceExperience with control panels, electrical cabinets, or industrial equipmentForklift or crane experienceFamiliarity with inventory systems such as KanbanWhy Join Us?Hands-on electrical and mechanical workTeam-focused culture with a strong commitment to safety and qualityWork EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing and assembly setting. Safety, quality, and teamwork are key to success in this role.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Asheville, NC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
