Location: Abbott Park, IL (60064)
Employment Type: 12-Month Contract (W2) With Possibility of Extension!
Pay Rate: $20.50-$22.50/hour
Shift: 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Training for this position will start on 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm) and will last roughly for 2-3 months
Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an Assembler Associate II - 2nd Shift to support our client's manufacturing operations. This is a great opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.
In this role, you will support assembly and manufacturing activities while following established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. You will work as part of a collaborative production team to help ensure products and components are assembled accurately, efficiently, and according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and production activities according to established procedures, work instructions, and specifications.
Assemble products, components, and subassemblies accurately and efficiently.
Follow applicable manufacturing, quality, and safety procedures.
Use appropriate hand tools, equipment, and production materials to complete assigned tasks.
Inspect components and completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
Identify and report product, material, equipment, or quality concerns.
Complete required production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain materials and supplies necessary to support daily production activities.
Follow established safety procedures and immediately report unsafe conditions or concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Support production goals while maintaining established quality standards.
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support manufacturing operations.
Follow instructions and complete assigned work within established production schedules.
Perform additional assembly and manufacturing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred.
Previous assembly, manufacturing, production, or related hands-on experience preferred.
Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to safely use applicable hand tools and production equipment.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a production team.
Dependable attendance and ability to consistently work the scheduled 2nd shift from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM .
