Job description
Assembler Associate IIThe Production Operator is responsible for all tasks associated with production activities for aseptically filling bottles/vials and applying labels to filled containers. Key functions include, but are not limited to:Operating (setup, shutdown, and cleaning) filling equipment within an ISO 7 environmentOperating (setup, shutdown, and cleaning) multiple pieces of equipment used for quality checks and label application in an open-air Controlled Non-Classified (CNC) areaCompleting extensive documentation, both digital and hard copyMaintaining a safe working environment and general housekeepingSupporting production activities outside their direct area of workThe role requires the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment, make sound and timely decisions, apply problem-solving skills, and consistently maintain product quality and GMP compliance.What You'll Work On:Follow established GMP instructions without deviationExecute highly complex or specialized workProactively monitor production activities (e.g., clearing minor jams) and address other downtime issues to minimize impact on the production processReport any abnormal equipment function or product issues as soon as they are identifiedOperate filling, labeling, and other equipment according to established procedures and specificationsOperate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneouslyAccurately complete work orders and other required documentationSafely operate all equipment and promptly report incidents, injuries, or safety hazardsMaintain accurate and legible recordsInspect products and materials to ensure acceptable visual and physical appearancePerform basic calculationsMaintain and replenish production materialsComplete general housekeeping tasksContribute positively to the production teamTake accountability for individual and team performance and efficiencyFollow instructions with minimal supervisionCommunicate effectively in person, by phone, and via emailUse computer-based programs, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and other custom production softwareRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentAbility to lift 20 lbs.Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication)Basic computer literacy (data entry, inventory software, Microsoft Office)Prior experience manufacturing in a GMP environmentPrior experience manufacturing in an environment adhering to ISO standardsAbility to gown appropriately to work in a clean environment (hood, shoe covers, coveralls, etc.)
